Finding a home inspector is easy. Finding a home inspector who will meet your needs is tough. This is one of the few professions where I ask for your trust before you even meet me.

If you’ve researched the web pages of other inspectors, you’ve seen a lot of the same things that you’ve seen on this site. BUT I’ll make you a BIG PROMISE.

Here is the Tex-Spections, no weasel words guarantee.  Attend your home inspection and if for any reason you’re not satisfied with the “Quality” of the home inspection service, tell me, before receiving your report, and I’ll either make it right, or you don’t pay the home inspection fee!

How Can I Guarantee My Inspections?

I don’t rush.  On most days I complete only one home inspection. I never do more than two Dallas-area home inspections in a day. Normally I’ll spend between 2 and 4 hours on the inspection (the age and size of the home affects the time). Then, I’ll spend about the same amount of time on the inspection report.

Some home inspectors provide the inspection report on site, but I feel that taking the additional time in the office, not being rushed by the seller, the agent, or spending more time in an occupied home, allows me to create a more detailed and custom report. The report will also include annotated photographs that point, circle or otherwise identify what was being captured in the photo. I may include attachments to the inspection report that directly address items found during the inspection. The quality and attention to the details in this type of inspection also means I charge a little more. BUT Do you want a cheap inspection?

A cheap inspection may be the most expensive thing you’ll ever buy, it may cost you thousands of dollars down the road because of missed or overlooked defects.  Cheap inspectors sometimes know less and do less, which is one reason why they’re cheap.

All Texas licensed inspectors are required to inspect for the same things. What differentiates Tex-Spections from our competition is the ability to relate the inspection results tailored to the individual client. AND remember that I want to be your INSPECTOR FOR LIFE. After the inspection (sometimes long after) I will be there to help you with your home ownership.
